On annual basis, the Embassy receives delegated funds which can be used for support of small local activities.
There are two types of small embassy projects:
- Small ODA Activities Programme
- Small NON-ODA Activities Programme
The Small ODA Activities Programme finances small scale-poverty reduction activities, with a maximum cost of EUR 25,000 and a maximum duration of one year per activity. These activities should be in line with the general policy lines of the Netherlands.
The Small NON-ODA Activities Programme finances activities in the areas of image and public support, including cultural activities and policy planning and support. These funds are intended to promote a positive image of the Netherlands abroad and strengthen Netherlands’s international cultural profile.
